چکیده
The prevalence of obesity has become a primary risk factor for adolescents’ health, which is an essential in poverty reduction and sustainable development. Physical activity can help adolescents reduce keep healthy body mass index (BMI). We analyze the 2010 National Youth Activity Nutrition Survey (NYPANS) U.S. school students from 9th to 12th grades (aging 12 18). A latent variable analysis explored relationship between BMI, physical activity, social environment. found that Hispanic have higher BMI because they participate fewer activities. active commuting does not provide sufficient BMI. neighborhood environment such as public exercise recreational center facilities, but cannot underweight increase Finally, spending too much leisure time on electronic entertainment, video games, dominating contributor unhealthy These research outcomes suggest providing activity-friendly adolescents, facilities neighborhood, critical Interventions encourage entertainment meet guidelines are also necessary.

Hitting and commute times in large random neighborhood graphs
In machine learning, a popular tool to analyze the structure of graphs is the hitting time and the commute distance (resistance distance). For two vertices u and v, the hitting time Huv is the expected time it takes a random walk to travel from u to v. The commute distance is its symmetrized version Cuv = Huv +Hvu. In our paper we study the behavior of hitting times and commute distances when t...

متن کاملHealthy active living: Physical activity guidelines for children and adolescents.
The epidemic of childhood obesity is rising globally. Although the risk factors for obesity are multifactorial, many are related to lifestyle and may be amenable to intervention. These factors include sedentary time and non-exercise activity thermogenesis, as well as the frequency, intensity, amounts and types of physical activity. Front-line health care practitioners are ideally suited to moni...
